Be prepared for changes in weather conditions. Invest in a light for your bike and have the right winter clothes on hand. With the sun beating down on you during the summer, keep a water bottle attached to your bike at all times to stay well hydrated. This is not hard to do, because many bikes already come equipped with places to keep your water bottle.
