They can also be shone on mirrors to help make the room appear larger. This is a very neat trick that works well to create the illusion of size.

In the garden there are plenty of outside spot lights available too. These can be used to light up trees and statues and generally make the outside space around your home look stylish and inviting. Having lights up outside is important if you want to use it as a nice dining area and place to entertain. Spot lights can help you achieve this. Just like in the bathrooms however, the spot lights need to be designed especially for outdoor use for safety. The lights need to be able to withstand the elements including the wind and the rain.

There are many ways that spotlight lighting can be used in the home to create an attractive look. It can be used as both interior lighting and exterior too to create dramatic accent lighting or cosy atmospheric lighting.
