How Effective Is Blogging In Internet Marketing? - By: ArticleSubmit Auto

It's said that baseball is the United States national pastime, if so blogging has become the international pastime of Internet users.

Blogging has come a long way in such a short period of time. Before the invention of the blog post, it was necessary to create a web page which was time-consuming and needless to say required a bit of technical know how.

Until recently blogs required some technical knowledge much to the chagrin of the avid blogger. Looking back at the history of blogging we learn that blogging has shaped our culture and specifically has been a big force in the political machinery.

Have you wondered why?

The answer to this question is not hard to understand, it's all in technology.

Most of us have a bit of the couch potato in us and because of this we want things easy so a blog is the easiest way to communicate compared to a web page. Blogs don't require technical knowledge-at least not a lot. Additionally the time saved on technology learning can be used to better advantage by focusing on creating excellent content.

However blogs are not without their peculiar problems. First one must choose the type of blog. There are many to choose from but the two that come to mind are Blog Spot and WordPress. Of those options I prefer the WordPress blog because of its overall friendliness and its ability to be customized. This allows the user to install plug-ins of all types and choose accessories as needed. Such accessories may include automation of things like search engine optimization, controlling comments, and more. But even with the flexibility of the WordPress blog the most important option to a blogger is the ability to choose and insert a theme, something that breathes life into any blog. With the proper theme the blogger can fully capture and engulf the reader's attention and spearhead the communication process. This look and feel is as important as the content itself because it provides a professional approach and helps build content trust.

Color, header type, teaser options, sidebar placement, as well as general page width and column size are all desirable and necessary items to be considered in creating a successful blogging environment. But at the same time as easy as this may seem, it isn't always. This can mean getting buried in technology when the main focus should be on creating content.

But keep the faith, There is light at the end of the tunnel. Many creative programmers are coming up with themes that are fully customized and address options such as monetizing of ClickBank, Google Adsense and other affiliate programs. Other features include automatic search engine placement tasks.

What if you're not a blogger? No matter, new themes can be customized to look like a web page eliminating the need for uploading pages using FTP and other unspeakable tasks.

Are you an affiliate marketer? You're in luck. It's possible to create squeeze pages in seconds without any knowledge just click and an entire web capture form page is completed.

So you're new to blogging? Perhaps with all these new advances you'll scrap web pages and go the easy route down the blogging path.
