These days, a lot expected of students. Kids are under a great deal of pressure from peers, teachers, family and others, to be successful and do well in school. School success is a stepping stone to being successful in the rest of life, so students feel like they need to perform at their highest potential. Many intelligent students get school grades that just don't seem to show how bright they really are. They turn in their homework, participate in class, but still get bad test scores.
