How Benches, Playgrounds And Padding Can Make Your School Or Daycare Look Much More Attractive To Ad - By: Laura K Dudley

When youngsters hear the recess bell, they race to the playground and claim their territory like tiny soldiers capturing an objective. Some make a dart for the jungle gym, others for the handball courts, while some kids just float around from play area to play area looking for the type of game or activity that interests them the most. Public schools, private schools and even daycares all provide some kind of play area for kids, but some places may have outdated equipment and still use metal jungle gyms and monkey bars that can cause some serious harm to little ones.

Picnic Benches

Several play areas outside of school and daycares may have tricycles, sporting equipment and handball courts for kids to play on but no area for them to sit. Adult-sized picnic benches are not made for young children for two reasons: for one, they are too huge for the child to sit and do activities on, and for two, these benches can present a safety hazard for young kids. Rather than ordering adult-sized picnic tables, you would get something more tailored for a 4 or 5-year old’s size, such as a tiny picnic table. These small benches will also lend you the best seating alternative for doing arts and crafts on, especially during a spring or summer day.

Padding

Having a child trip and hit a piece of concrete or metal rod is not something any school supervisor wishes to see, especially on a preschool playground. In hopes of lowering the amount of school-related accidents, administrators tend to order padding for playground areas, but over time, these small pads will begin to rip. Foam-padding comes in a range of different shapes and sizes, and it is best to go out and order new foam if you see your current pads are starting to rip and tear.

Playground

All schools tend to encircle their playgrounds with either foam padding, sand or grass, but one big dilemma found with many of these jungle gyms is the fading paint, broken down plastic or use of metal slides. It is better to replace the old metal slides with newer plastic slides that grant a safer alternative, and if your equipment has tears and cracks inside of it, you might want to also consider replacing the playground. Of course, buying one of these playground sets is not cheap and does require a couple thousand dollars, but you can locate affordable deals if you know where to look. If you think that playground equipment may be too costly at a brick-and-mortar store, you can always locate inexpensive rates from online companies. Online dealers will also have a larger selection for different age groups, giving you more freedom to pick what you prefer.
