It sounds impossible but anal fissures and conjunctivitis are linked and caused by the same underlying condition: Herpes, which is a blistering of the skin. They commonly occur when somebody have both types of the herpes virus and it creates the herpes simplex.

Anal fissures is the name that is given to cracks or tears in the skin around the anus. It can be very painful and can often be confirmed by bleeding while on the toilet or by a redness around the area. These fissures often occur when a person is suffering from constipation and is commonly mistaken for piles. Anal fissures usually occur in people who are between the ages of 20 and 40 but can appear in anyone at anytime.

Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the layers of cells that cover the white in your eyes due to an infection. There are three types of conjunctivitis and which one you have will determine how serious it is and why the infection occurred in the first place. The condition is very common all around the world and is extremely infections; the reason for why it is so common. Many children tend to get the disease due to close contact with others in school.

How is Conjunctivitis Cured?

The only way that this disease can be cured it through the use of eye drops. There are over-the-counter options available as well as prescription medication but all work just as well. It is very important that you do not rub your eyes because it will make the infection worse. Sometimes the condition can be due to an irritable material in the eye, which can be cleared by using purifying water - once the irritable material is gone, the infection should clear up quickly.

When people think of herpes, they usually think about genital or oral herpes. However, the disease is able to affect the whole body. Herpes is a blistering of the skin, which is exactly what can occur during both anal fissures and conjunctivitis. Herpes is not curable and will continue to lay dormant in the body. The first outbreak of symptoms is always the worst and as the time goes on, there will be fewer outbreaks that occur.
