Acne is a red, irritating skin rash primarily affecting teenagers and young adults. It can, however, occur at all ages.

The facade of your skin has lots of small sebaceous glands just under the surface. These glands make sebum natural oil) that keeps the skin smooth and supple.
Tiny pores (holes in the skin) allow the sebum to come to the exterior of your skin. Hairs also grow through these pores.
The sebaceous glands of people with acne are particularly sensitive to usual blood levels of a hormone called testosterone, found naturally in both men and women.
Treatment of Acne
Treatments for acne come in two forms; topical treatments (applied to the skin) and oral medicines (taken by mouth). While mild acne frequently respond to self-care measures and topical treatments, sensible to severe cases may require prescription medicines.
It’s a good idea to try to get an understanding of your acne and how severe it is. This will help you to select the most appropriate treatment.
1. Minimal: Acne cleansers and OTC treatments

Home Remedies for Acne
1. Application of a pack made by boiling 50 gm of raspberry, strawberry or blackberry leaves with 1.5 liters of water for 3 minutes will give itching free and soothing skin. This is a very effective home remedies for acne
2. Mix usual yogurt and fine oatmeal to a thick paste, apply and leave to dry. Wash the face with lukewarm water and pat dry. Afterwards you can apply any antibiotic lotion depending on the skin type.
3. The latest method nowadays used for the treatment of acne skin is the Aloe Vera. Soaps and gels made from Aloe Vera serve a good purpose in curative the acne damaged skin.
4. Cook 2-3 tea bags and mix with dried basil for 10-20 minutes. Apply this on the face and acne with a cotton ball.
5. The orange peel is valuable in the treatment of acne.
6. Make a paste by mixing honey and cinnamon powder. Apply the glue while inactive and wash the face next morning as this is a good quality natural remedy for acne.
7. Unboiled milk varied with gram flour has been proved effectual for the daily wash of acne skin.
8. Mix one tablespoon of groundnut oil with one tablespoon of lime juice for treating skin grievance and this is one of the best home remedies for acne.
