High school is a time of every teen's life that is extremely memorable. It is filled with dances, sports games, tests and for many, the prospect of going away to college. There are so many things to remember about high school, it would be hard to keep the memories clear without help. High school yearbooks often let people remember their experiences decades after graduating.

Each year, high school yearbooks are sold to the students. There are so many events that are captured in the pages of the yearbook. There is usually something for everyone to hold on to in the pages of those books.

High school yearbooks staff members are normally selected each year. They can be chosen because of their academic success, they volunteer to do it or it can be assigned to a specific class, normally the graduating class of that year. These students have the pleasure of recording all the events that take place through the year.

A yearbook photographer is normally at all the schools sporting events. There are a lot of pages filled with a sporting event because schools normally have multiple teams. High school yearbooks normally show all the games that have taken place during the year, not just the championship games or the grudge matches against rival schools.

Not only does the yearbook staff make a point of being at the many sporting events, they also attend many of the dances and award ceremonies that take place during the year. High school yearbooks try to have different photos displaying students in different settings so that the students see all the things that have happened through the year, even if they weren't there at that specific moment.

High school yearbooks not only display the livelier part of high school life, it displays the academic successes as well. Many high schools have different school projects that occur during the year with different clubs and faculties. These are always displayed, allowing those that worked within those projects to be displayed as well.

One of the more popular aspects of high school yearbooks are the individual pictures of the students. These pictures are normally the pictures from picture day at school. Since none of the students want to have a bad yearbook picture, they normally take the time to dress up for those pictures.

High school yearbooks are one of the few books that people intentionally keep for decades. They show the pictures to their children, grandchildren and share stories of their different experiences during that time. High school is often a time of growth and experience. Keeping a yearbook is how many people are able to remember those small details and stories.
