Some experts suggest sipping water or iced tea just before you sit down to a meal. Continue drinking as you eat to add volume and weight to your meal.

How many calories needed to lose weight?

Many people do not like to hear this, but really the only way to lose weight is to eat less calories than you burn. Some people can do it by eating different types of food, less food, or food that burns more calories, and some people exercise more. You may ask yourself how many calories do I need to lose weight. That answer is different for each person. What is not different is that one pound equals 3500 calories. If you can reduce your caloric intake or burn off those 3500 calories in one week, then you lose 1 pound per week. That usually works out to 500 calories per day.
