A business plan is written for two purposes: One is to attract investors and lenders and second is to guide you in the future. Target market and audience requires proper attention because business industry and audiences taste changes rapidly. Once you have a business plan you, can check whether you have achieved your expected sales or not? You can verify this by looking at the profit and loss statement in financial projection section of the business plan.
If you think that the assumptions you have made is out dated or you have achieved your projected milestones you can alter your business plan but, make sure the information you have added must be realistic and contains logical assumptions in it. Business plan act as a means of monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating your business; it is essential that it must be written professionally and of high quality.
