Men can sometimes be difficult to buy for as the products that they like tend to be more selective as opposed to general. When looking for a sentimental gift for a woman there are so many choices from perfumes and luxury body treatments through to flowers and jewellery. However, the trouble is that with men it is never quite as simple.

A lot of men do have a few specific hobbies, however gifts tailored towards their hobby will often be more practical and gimmicky as opposed to romantic and sentimental and something they can keep. If they like a specific sport or team then there are often branded goods you can get which are not related to the sport but include a reference to it.

Experience days and events always go down well with men as presents, but there is no tangible element to this which can be kept and treasured. Granted they will have good memories of the day and if you can ensure some great photographs are taken then there is always the option to make up a photograph book or similar as a token from the day.

Jewellery is a very easy option for women, but not so much for men. Most men will have their key pieces of jewellery which they like but are not into costume jewellery or changing their accessory style in the same way that women are.

Having said that, the one item which all men seem to be crazy for is watches.
