When buying family tents make sure that they're breathable; it helps if the tent has a mesh lining as well as internal windows. This is ideal for better breathability and ventilation when the tent is to its maximum capacity. There is nothing more unpleasant than being hot and uncomfortable in a tent. Large tents can also get a little on the smelly side with plenty of people sharing - another valid reason to have mesh panelling and windows in the tent!
