Businesses monitor worker activities for valid business justifications, which include legal compliance and liability, performance review, productivity measures, and security concerns. Within the recent studies, 90% of the businesses are informing their staff about this process. One of many employees at a well-known company once had an affair with her immediate supervisor.

With one of the spot checks done on her work station, the upper management was surprised to see their emails and conversations, which are usually during working hours. This is obviously just one example why we have to monitor employees. It does not really imply that they are doing anything wrong. Anyway, they shouldn't worry by any means if they are simply doing the correct things.

Being a supervisor in a huge company is tough. I have to make certain our employees are very productive. Much more work was done for the company. My superiors of course were pleased and gave me a big bonus.

Employee monitoring has been practiced in our company for years. When I started out working for the company, the employees in our personnel ensured the policies of the business were outlined to all of us. One rule of thumb was that our company has the right to monitor us within the workplace. It was necessary to keep our files confidential and to make sure we were working during work hours. I felt uncomfortable at first keeping in mind that there are CCTV's all over the place.

Cell phones and various devices weren't permitted inside the business office as well, and so I needed to adjust. I whined and complained at the beginning, especially when I found out that many internet sites were obstructed by our IT department. I wish to browse more sites, which I believe could benefit my job. I wanted to enter some sites in order to do the job well. It was solved eventually when I spoke with our manager and informed her my dilemma. They permitted me a few access and I was able to do my work without delays.

I had a lunch date once with my colleagues and friends. All of us had a great chitchat over sumptuous meals, but I observed my friend looked so anxious. I stopped eating and asked him why. He looked at me and sob. He said that he could not imagine one of his trusted staff to deceive him. It appears that one of the company's confidential files were taken and were sold for bidding to his opponents. He said that he forfeited millions of money because of that.

My other friend tapped his shoulder and pointed out, " Now, I'll help you invest in employee monitoring systems." My friend got shocked, but my colleague continued to smile on him. He said that it's certainly one of his tricks why his company is profitable. He mentioned he gets to monitor employees remotely and gets to make sure that they do their work properly. Additionally, it could protect company's profile and files. My best friend was hopeful that it will never happen to his business again, thanks to our wonderful colleague who was not self-centered to share his secrets and techniques.
