At the San Gorgonio Mountain in California you can experience an awesome panoramic view from the summit. Over 11,000 feet above it all you can see multiple ecozones. Away from the buildings of the city, you'll see the sky in a brand new way. Back in the east you can also find great peaks in the Appalachian Mountains and foothills.

For a bit of unconventional camping, there are some spots that are catered to you. Two great spots for a little nude bathing are Conundrum Hot Springs, Colorado, and Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, Michigan. Lake Superior offers a great atmosphere in its clean, freshwater depths for swimming and nature watching. For optimal stargazing away from the concrete and smog of the city, a great place to camp is Mount Wrightson Wilderness in Arizona. Known as Old Baldy to the locals, you can see the sky in a brand knew way from this bare peak. For the best rest and relaxation mixed into your adventure, consider the many islands and trails of Hawaii.

If you enjoy being outdoors, you'll love the limitless options you have for natural adventure. Whether you travel alone or with companions, your getaway is sure to be packed with fun. As long as you have an idea, you won't lack for opportunity as you get out and experience Mother Nature.
