Give Your Sports Presentation A Fun Twist With Football Trophies - By: K Quinn

Many dream of lifting a golf or football trophies such as the Ryder Cup above their head but will never reach this goal. That said, every level of footballer enjoys winning something, even if it's just a bit of silly fun. Regardless of whther you proze giving is held in a field or in a posh club it should be a fun affair and not taken too seriously. Below are some ideas you could use when presenting football trophies to your team.

The Player of the Year

This football trophy is for your team's top striker, wily play-maker or solid defensive rock. The guy or girl who stands out from the crowd, the one who goes that extra mile. So one of the most special football trophies surely has to be a faux-marble bottomed, golden plastic statue of a man solidly kicking a ball. With a trophy like this you will respected by your team mates as it represents power, skill and achievement. Even if your trophy is not made out of the finest materials, it will still be important and shiny and will look good in your trophy cabinet.

The Responsible One

This character can be found on most sports teams. The ones who make that special effort for the team such as never missing a session and going out of their way to help will be the ones who are up for this award. Although not one of the most prestigious awards, these people play a vital part in a team and need to be recognised for this. A life ring or Baywatch style life float could be a fun way to present this award. "I'll be there, forever and always, I'm always here." As the theme tune goes, so why not stick with this theme.

The Comedian

You cant have an awards ceremony without recognising the class clown. This person is the one who will always lift the teams spirits no matter how bad the conditions the score or the other team. Even if you do end up getting thrashed 20-0. A trophy with a picture of the Spice Girls on could add a sense of humour to this award. The more embarrassing and horrible the trophy, the funnier it will be. Perfect for your joker in the pack.
