Sidney's ability to see in the character realm was confirmed any time he was about four yoa. He was with their grandmother, whom he phones "Von-Von, " in her company when she asked him to travel get something in another room. He jumped up and started toward the door. Then, all of a sudden he stopped and wouldn't feel the door. He walked backward to where Von-Von was sitting.

"What's bad, Sid? " she sought after.

"Who is usually that? " He pointed toward the hallway.

Von-Von immediately knew that which was happening. She had seen a ghost of young boy flash across the woman's foyer several days previously. "I'm not sure what his name is, " the girl said as she pulled Sid into her lap. "But, he will not necessarily harm you. Let's call upon Archangels Chamuel and Michael to aid. "

Sidney would not take his eyes in the spirit at the doorway.

"Archangels Michael and Chamuel, " Von-Von claimed, "We have the spirit of a lost boy in our house. Please come and help him start to see the light and go to a safe place where he'll find his friends and family. Thank you. "

After a few moments Sidney said, "He's ended up! " Then, he slid off his grandmother's lap and walked in the doorway without hesitation.

The famed Gable and Lombard Room's furnishings recreates this late 1930's period the same as it was when these people stayed here.
