Getting the Most From Your Fat Burning Aerobic Workout - By: Tony Chimaldi

If your target would be to lose fat plus you do not mind perspiring (and you will sweat) then perhaps a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is good for you. The objective of HIIT exercising is to push our bodies to a level of almost exhaustion via ranging intervals after which allowing you to recover. Contrary to popular belief, the actual recuperation time period when you finish your workout session is when almost all of your weight loss will probably actually take place rather than during the HIIT session itself.

Many people like HIIT training because of the brief timeframe. A normal aerobic session could keep going from Twenty or so minutes to an hour. The opinion is that it takes 20 minutes of exercise for your system to start using up fat calories. This is a contrary means of reasoning when it comes to HIIT training, where an average session could be between 12 to 15 minutes maximum.

So what is HIIT training? It is a short high intensity cardio session using changing elevated intensity intervals in addition to rest periods. Now, this does not mean that one could halt your activity during the recovery period. On the contrary. You are looking for your body to recover prior to your up coming high intensity interval.

You can apply HIIT training on virtually any piece of aerobic exercise equipment that you would commonly use for cardio. Anything from a stationary bicycle, elliptical, treadmill or even a rowing machine is suitable. You can even do wind sprints on a track should you want, but i suggest you commence with a regular aerobic machine as doing HIIT on a track is quite a bit further advanced.

Yet another great thing about HIIT is that due to its quick timeframe, it can be done after your weight workout. This really is excellent due to the fact that your body is already warmed up. Also, because you shouldn't be performing HIIT everyday you may follow your weight training routine.

HIIT is a wonderful means to shed those additional pounds of extra fat, specially from your problem regions. Bear in mind you eliminate fat from your body as one, and to lose fat you have to do aerobic exercise. And with HIIT your aerobic sessions can be nice as well as brief, and also a little painful.
