Just as people work alongside each other better when they are connected together – usually by being sat in the same office – so businesses are much more efficient when all of their technology is linked through a network. Business networking is now far more complex than in its early days, when perhaps a couple of desktop computers were required to be able to ‘talk’ to each other and share the same operating system and files.
