If you only gain one thing from this article, know this - The first attempt at a relationship is rarely the ONLY shot. If you do the right things, and avoid the following mistakes you have a better than average chance of getting her back. Above all, you need the right attitude!

Let me elaborate a little by telling you about Joey, an old buddy from college. Now as men judge each other, I have to say Joey was nothing special. Joey, somehow though, always got his girl. Joey once told me attracting a girl was easy. Joey seemed to know the magic secret. We all want to know it and in reality, now that I understand it - it's pretty simple.

It simply requires confidence. Joe knew this. He always appeared comfortable, humble, kind and witty. Joey always made eye contact and could talk with a girl, on her level. He maintained a curious attitude in regards to her that always seemed to make her feel special. But Joey never learned one key point....

Before I let you in on Joey's shortcoming, let me tell YOU what not to do. Knowing what mistakes to avoid are more important right now than any of the "what-to-do's".

* Avoid The Panic Mode - This is the biggest mistake guys make. I was guilty of it.

Panic mode is simply the desperate desire to act now, immediately, before she's lost to someone else forever. The really bad news - Operating out of need and desperation is more likely to push her away forever, leaving you more hurt, depressed, and anguished over the breakup.

Remain Calm. Even if she starts seeing someone new, it's not over, IF you remain calm. You have to summon up the "appearance" of surviving, regardless of the pain you are feeling. It doesn't matter what technique you use to achieve this, there are hundreds, just find something that keeps your mind off her for awhile. Did I say this was going to be easy? Forgive me if I did.

* Avoid contact
Above all, stop the "desperation" moves. Only you really know how you feel, you see this from the inside. Yes, you know how lost, how miserable, how desperate you feel. To be brutally honest no one else much gives a crap. Few, if anyone, want to see a "whiny" you.

Acting is desperation only leads to the appearance of being clingy, needy, and desperate. Which leads to all the wrong moves; begging, pleading, apologizing, buying gifts, and trying every worthless trick under the sun to get her back.

No contact means you don't call, you don't text, and you don't email her endlessly. These are NOT great plans to get her back! Is it hard to avoid? Yep, I was there too. Her actions right now however, are saying she needs space and time. Give it to her, give her all the space and time she wants. This is actually one part of some great reversal tactics

The key thing is...Give her the chance to respect you again, that is really what all women want.

* Don't Promise Anything!
Words are a waste of time. And they give the appearance of "need" to her. She doesn't want "needy". Forget talking and figure out what the hell went wrong instead. Work on your attitude, work on the things we talked about above. Remember she really wants to respect you. You want to inspire her? Show her a strong and confident you!

If you can avoid the mistakes I've listed you are already improving your chance of getting her back dramatically.
