Get Ahead with Online Advertising with SEO - By: Jenna Jones

You'll always need Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, when you're planning your online advertising campaign. It's one of the best way for you for getting your company probably the most exposure possible. After all, what will the web crawlers seek if there aren't any words to follow?

An important thing to keep in mind is to work with the proper text on your website, especially if you might have image links or drop-down menus. You want the web crawlers to uncover you and they can not do that if they can't see the keywords on your website. You must provide good content in the articles, too. Keywords are king, certainly, but search engines like google and yahoo can just tell if you are stuffing the pages with them as opposed to writing about good and pertinent information. The subject has to be unique as well, simple copies of other articles won't get the cut.

Make sure you write using a natural manner. Form your writing properly; don't fill it up with fluff words to up your word count . You will need to have your keywords inside the articles not more than 2 or 3 times to ensure that they will not be considered "stuffed" and then disregarded by the crawlers. It certainly won't be what you intended! On that note, don't keep recycling your content. Regularly update your site with new articles to keep the web crawlers happy. Constant new information makes a page more important in any search engine's eyes. Utilizing keyword phrases gets many more in your website than just single words. For example, “advertising” is OK, but if you employ “online advertising and social media” you would be able to have that much more of an audience on your website.

Websites don't just have factor in design, either. Remember, the spiders can't read Flash animation or images. You'll have to have people viewing your site and the only way you are able to do that would be to keep keywords visible that the crawlers can find. Don't disappoint the search engines with old material; at the least thrice weekly, put on something new. The easiest method to do that would be to keep a blog and upload your updates onto that. Then, have it linked directly to your website so you can receive two hits with the web crawlers.
