Skin is the largest organ of the integumentary system. Skin is formed by the multilayered ectodermal tissues. Skin plays an important role in protecting the internal organs and against the pathogens. It also acts as organ for insulation, temperature regulation and sensation.
Better your digestion, better your skin appears. So in order to improve digestion, few things are required to be considered.
Water is the basic substance and primary agent required for the functioning of human body. For proper digestion, adequate quantity of water intake is necessary. Water helps in flow of nutrients to the vital organs. Intake of water is must, so try to drink one-four glasses of water, the moment you wake up. Prior to breakfast, lunch and dinner drink one-two glasses of water before half an hour of your meal. Try to avoid water while eating. Finally, make it a habit of drinking water continuously during day.
Dietary fiber or roughage is another component required for a healthy skin. Consumption of fiber produces compounds after the fermentation of soluble fiber and insoluble fibers ability to produce bulk, tender the stool and making its less stay in the intestinal tract. Plant parts like, skin, pulp, stem, seeds, leaves, roots etc all contain both the fibers. It is of two types:
Soluble fiber, which is easily digested and breakdown in the colon into gases and byproducts which are essential in physiological functions of the body.
Insoluble fiber which does not have any metabolic importance as it is removed as such from the digestive system, helping in defecation.
Go for whole grains consumption, beans and legumes can be eaten by making tastier recipes, an apple a day without peeling the skin is also a source of fiber. Cauliflower may be roasted one is also recommended. Rice, salads and oat meals acts as flaxseeds and will boost your fiber intake.
Sedentary situations are however comfortable but not healthier as skin health is concerned. Exercise regularly and make a habit of healthy walk in the early hours. Message therapies and gymnasium schedule will decrease the risk of ill health after constant sittings at your workplaces and enhances the skin texture and the feel.
Excess of everything is dangerous, so as sugar. Premature aging is accounted due to excess sugar eaten by us. Excess sugar starts entering our blood stream, there glucose molecule get glued to protein molecule thereby damaging protein resulting in a product which damages collagen present in our skin, cartilage and ligaments and decrease elasticity. Wrinkles start to appear and skin starts losing its vigor and firmness. Therefore, try to reduce your sugar intake, in your daily beverages by half the previous amount. And find some substitute for sugar.
All the above approaches will definitely prove beneficial as a general way to make the skin healthy and beautiful.
