Anchorage

With six mountain ranges in clear view, Anchorage is tucked neatly between mountains and sea. Almost half of the state’s residents call this spot home. Known as the city of flowers, city streets are festooned with flowers in baskets and beds. You’ll find some of the freshest and most expertly prepared seafood in the world, be it oysters, king crab, halibut or wild salmon.
