Four Motives To Run Your Own Shop - By: ArticleSubmit Auto

Do you leap out of bed with a gleam in your eye on Monday morning? Are you pleased as punch to see your boss when you first show up for work? Probably not. Most people aren't. That's why more and more people these days are starting up their own businesses. Millions of people every year are achieving the American dream by leaving their horrible nine to five behind, and striking out on their own. If you are thinking of doing the same, then this article is for you. I'll give you four powerful reasons why you should start your own business.

For many people, the biggest reason to start your own business is that you get to be your own boss. Which of course, means you really don't have a boss. Nobody to send those reports back to rewrite, nobody to shoot down your ideas during meetings, nobody to creep up behind you on Friday afternoon and tell you that it would be just great if you could come in on Saturday. Once you leave your boss and the accompanying stress behind, you can really get your creative juices flowing, and focus on making some serious money.

On the flip side of that coin is that you get to work your own hours. Of course, this usually means longer hours than at a nine to five where you can punch out as soon as the whistle blows, but these are hours spent doing things you know will improve your business. Being able to set your own hours gives you an enormous amount of flexibility that you simply cannot get at the typical nine to five grind.

Another powerfully compelling reason to strike out on your own is the potential is virtually unlimited. Compared to your typical nine to five, where you may get an annual salary increase of a few percent, or maybe even a promotion every three or four years, working for yourself gives you the potential to earn incredible amounts of money. The fact that most millionaires in America got there through working their own business should be plenty motivation for you.

And lastly, when you own your own business, you can choose any niche you want to go into. Compare that to a standard nine to five, where you're assigned projects by somebody else. When you own your own business, you can follow your interests, so you're always doing something that you enjoy.

Naturally, this isn't for everybody. But for those that do choose to go down the path of the self employed, you can expect to be your own boss, work your own hours, and do things of your choosing. If you ever considered going into business for yourself, there's never been a better time than right now.
