Flash Design Just Got Better and More Powerful With Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5 - By: Nick D. Johnson

Adobe recently launched their new professional Flash software, Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5. With a host of recent updates and facilities that now allow it to be undeniably the industry leading product. When it comes to Flash design and creating interactive content that could be displayed in most types of media including TVs, smart-phones, tablets, desk and laptops, CS5.5 takes the lead.

The list of the latest updates is completely awesome, allowing authors of Flash material greater flexibility, and making their output more professional to watch, and easier to generate. For example anyone can share so called assets between different projects, (FLA file extensions), provided that the project was already created. You'll be able to copy and paste layers between time lines, and in addition it automatically resizes any content as you work through a live environment, dimensions change with every interaction and new settings.

The newest features make CS5.5 much better and easier to learn Flash. There are so many ways to create and tweak your Flash content in this new version. Another new powerful feature Adobe have brought about is the exporting of vector based symbols in bitmap format. Putting the technical jargon aside, this only denotes that devices with less CPU capacity, including any mobile platforms, need not work so hard through the playback process. Rendering large bits of content was always an issue in the past, now it is a thing of the past.

Mobile platforms are changing regularly as new technology makes smaller, faster, devices with an increase need for top quality playback. CS5.5 continues to be enhanced to meet the needs and all varieties of new media and media applications by introducing stuff like "Code Snippets" for mobile phones and AIR, and also AIR formatting for compatibility with all the new Android devices.

Flash design is becoming a lot more crucial as the industry grows and adopts new and more robust technology. This will make Flash presentations easier to create and easier to modify as they will operate virtually in any platform. Flexibility for Flash to work in conflicting environments has always been somewhat of a problem, now that problem is becoming a thing of the past.

With video creation in mind, CS5.5 now makes it possible to work via an FLV Stage Playback facility, to actually check out the visual on stage, and whereas in the past, video cue points were quite fiddly to insert, that process has now been simplified too. On the animation side, you can now edit bitmaps, and with the creation of a new decorative drawing tool, you can include some stunning new effects.

If you are a student of Flash, then you will be interested to know there are addition of new templates which means that it is now possible to be able to produce and save those popular elements so that you can share them in creating various projects.

The focus and power of Abobe's CS5.5 is very impressive, and whether you are a expert who uses Flash design on a daily basis, or a newbie wanting to dig into Flash, you are bound to have questions and issues that you will need help with. Understanding this, Adobe have created a new online forum help center whereby you can ask and consult with Abobe industry experts for help and advice. This is taking customer service to a whole new level.
