The first thing to consider to have an ideal diet plan is to believe that it is a commitment of a lifetime, you have to understand that unless something will change in your habits or lifestyle you can never achieve the goal that you always wanted.
Crash Diets and sudden burst of exercise will not help you in the long run. People who suddenly starve themselves or abruptly hit the treadmill for hours will only leave them disheartened and unmotivated. If not conducted properly, these instant changes might lead to serious damage and injuries.
So if sudden changes are not the answer, what is the best way to lose weight the healthy way?
First, your energy needs and weight loss:
Our body required food to sustain our basic needs for survival, so if you are gaining weight it means that you are eating more calories than what you actually needed. The equation is simple; if you want to lose weight, you must lessen your calories and increase your activity level.
Second, introduce changes in a slow but steady manner,
You cannot induce big changes instantly nor will it give you the practical results, you have to present each little changes with patience and perseverance. You should think of weight loss in terms of permanently altering your eating habits.
Third, increase you activity in a day:
It is very important that we have a daily exercise routine not only to keep us fit and healthy, but to keep our mind clear from any kind of stress and unwanted thoughts. Physical activities will help the individual a lot to achieve optimum physical, mental and spiritual health. So, start planning your preferred exercise that will not bore you and stick to the idea that it has to be part of my daily routine.
Fourth, reduce your calorie intake
If you are overweight, you cannot expect to lose weight if you are still eating the amount of food you eat in a daily basis. The key here is learning the right portioning of food. It is okay to eat 6 times a day to keep the metabolism running however; the amount of food per serving should be monitor.
Fifth, write down your agenda
It is crucial that you have keen eyes when it comes to monitoring you diet. You can plan your meal the night before and please observe it. You can also take note of the changes you see in your body, your exercise agenda for the day and your mood at that day.
