First time home buyers - By: Paul Escobedo

Buying your first home can be confusing and tricky. We all start by searching for a new home. We want to know what location will work for us. How far from work are we willing to live? The cheaper the homes usually means the farther away we have to live from work. So you want to think about how much time and gas it will take to get to work and back each week.

The next thing you want to decide is which Real Estate agent you would like to represent you. There are so many to choose from. When looking for my home I decided to choose an agent with qualities that I liked. Speed and friendliness were the main concerns of mine. I wanted an agent that worked close with me and kept me in the loop with what he was doing. This assured me that he was working hard to get me a home. I was glad that he was friendly. Not overly fake friendly but genuinely seemed like a good guy. It was easier to trust that he was looking out for my needs in a new home.

Finally, I wanted to know what incentives and deals were builders offering. In a buyer’s market builders are slashing prices and offering incredible incentives to push inventory. He was able to show me many different tools that show where the incentives are being showcased, from the local paper to the internet. I have found a great website that exclusively shows builders incentives, locations, and prices on these new homes. NewHomesSection.com shows tons of Arizona home builders and has great incentives being offered by Arizona builders. Each ad links directly to each builder’s website for more information. I hope this helps you in your search for a new home.
