On the other hand make sure you look into it because they may have realised that the market is far to saturated to make any decent revenue from it so they will try to sell it off before it’s too late.

If this is the case be careful which country the business and suppliers are based, for example if you live in the United Kingdom and want to buy a business based in Australia that can drop ship to the customers it may not be very suitable because of the time difference. If you have to contact the suppliers there will be only certain times of the day in which the they will be open, you could resolve this issue by using emails to contact them but this will prolong the procedure and may seem unprofessional from the customers point of view as they will not be able to ring you up and ask and questions.

Be sure to ask for all of the information so you can to see the ins and outs of the company and how it works, try to get images of the revenue for the past 6 months or more to make sure that it wasn’t just a spike in sales due to events such as Christmas. Also ask for traffic data if it’s an online company so you can see how you could improve it making it better than before. Ask them what keywords they are targeting and if they have any good rankings in the major search engines, all of this will help you make a decision whether you should buy it or not.
