Finding Balance Between Business And Everyday life Is A Family Who Works Together And Plays Together!

It’s Sunday morning, my toddler is seated on the floor playing blocks and I’m snuggling in a warm throw with my middle child in a quiet room and it makes me think about how folks battle with finding balance between business and life. I have an intimate view on this issue as I have personally experienced the pain with the day-to-day conflict as well as joy in obtaining balance between business and life.

Trouble In Paradise! He Struggles With Finding Balance Between Business And Life

Once upon a time, in the middle of May in the year 1998, I was in labor with my second baby and where was my husband? In and out of the hospital trying so hard to balance his clients needs with mine. At the time, he couldn’t, for whatever reason tell the client I needed him and was delivering his child. I imagine it was because he was actually fearful of losing the client. He wasn’t going to lose me... after all I his wife and raising his children, but what would happen if he lost his client? The thought was too much for him. So, he never asked himself. The years went by and it was much the same as he put the business first. Having a business was EVERYTHING, the effort in finding harmony between business and life was simply not there. I knew what needed to be done, but it was a thing that he had to learn for himself.

Discovering Balance Between Business And Everyday life Is More Challenging Than You Might Think!

All the self-improvement guides and courses in the world didn’t help him with discovering balance between business and life. I never understood how someone could struggle so much with a thing like this. I have generally lived my everyday life as if I might die tomorrow. I wake up every single day and imagine how I can make someone’s life better. He had his blinders on, practically nothing would take his eyes off from his dream of having his own business, not even his spouse and children. What exactly is the formula for discovering balance between business and everyday life anyway? It doesn’t require a self-improvement expert to answer this one. Yet, it seems to be ellusive for many individuals.

The Answer To Finding Harmony Between Business And Life Is Less complicated For Some People

Your family could be taken from you in a flash. What would I do without my sweet sunshine girl? That’s what I call my middle daughter, Samantha, who's now thirteen. What would I ever do without my first baby, Matthew? If he ever heard me refer to him as a baby, he’d die right there on the spot! It’s not cool for a mom to talk about her almost 16-year old son like that is it? Life is so precious and it doesn’t take too much pondering to figure that out. So, why did my husband struggle the way he did? It was all for the dream. I can’t fault him for that, I just wanted to be his dream. We all have many dreams to work towards, and this is beneficial, healthy and WONDERFUL. Be mindful not to focus too much on one particular aspect of your dreams because your other dreams could slip away without you even realizing.

Now Finding Balance Between Business And Life Is A Family Affair!

We have been married for almost 18 years and it took him almost half of those years to figure out that his family was THE most significant thing in his life. Changing businesses saved our family! We’ve been in business since 1995 and have done different types of business and succeeded at them all at least monetarily. The perfect business for a family, believe or not, is network marketing, at least in my opinion. Specifically because we earn our living in so many different ways. The freedom of operating from home and earning money has been so beneficial for us. We even get a tax break by hiring our older children. My son helps with a lot of the internet marketing, while my middle daughter assists with graphics and videos. My husband well, he’s the backbone. He’s got his head straight now and works with the traffic generation and system funnels while giving himself to the family more and more each day. For anybody struggling with finding balance between business and life, all you have to do is think about how to integrate your family in what you do, but I advise starting a home-based business. Finally, keep your thoughts focused on the folks in your life every day!
