It is always recommended to not save your file, or even changes made to a file, on a disk that has very low or little disk space. Generally, a user is prompted by the system to perform a cleanup operation in such a situation. But imagine, you try to save changes made to a document, and receive an error. Followed by this, you close the application and suddenly, you find that the file in question has been deleted from the disk. Now what? All the data that was saved in that file has been lost!
