At times, an obligor is the non-custodial parent of a child. Divorce cases usually include child support payments. There are several legal formalities that need to be fulfilled in course of child support.

Child custody - Child custody is a legal expression that is used to explain legal bond of a parent and his child. A parent holds the rights to take decisions for the well-being of his/ her child. Child custody refers to a verdict placed by the court. Child custody can be of basically three types - Sole custody, joint custody and split custody, depending on what a court decides.
