Aside from its appearance, people consider dummy cameras because they don’t cost that much. A complete set of genuine cameras will probably cost you thousands of dollars and installation of these will require professionals—which is an added cost. Another advantage dummy camera is flexibility. Since these cameras are not even connected to a receiver, they normally do not require complex wires and as a result, you can practically put these cameras anywhere.
