Another clue is to look out for the lack of scientific research in various claims made by weight loss companies. Many companies claim that their weight loss supplements can increase metabolism, block fat or suppress appetite. However, with no approved research to support these claims of quick weight loss, it is safer to assume that these proposed diets are merely fads. For a healthier alternative to lose weight, consult your family doctor or a professional dietician for better researched and informed weight loss tips.
