After gathering sponsors for the event, you must also prepare the items to auction. There are many possible products and services to be used as auction items. The items are actually sold at higher prices for profit and more earnings at that. The starting bid for these items should not be higher than the real price. The products and services will only be declared sold to the last bidder up until no one is capable to bid for it.

In the course of arranging and gathering donations, you should keep track of the items. Since you have still much time until the event, it is necessary to keep a close monitoring on the items. You should create a daily check- up of the inventory. You must be mathematical in a sense. You must be aware of their prices and the price the sponsor wants you to auction the item with. Normally, sponsors such as local businesses donate incentives, gift checks and certificates, discounts on services and retail products.
