Your doctor may also need to ask you certain questions to ascertain your exact condition. Pointing out skin breaks in your face will also be helpful in knowing where the bacteria might have entered.

Treating facial cellulitis is through an antibiotics regimen. The dosage depends on the severity of the skin disease. Severe cases need to be cured in a hospital. Antibiotics for the skin infection are penicillin base so inform your doctor if you have an allergy to it. These antibiotics are administered for a longer period since there are many cases where a cured patient has a recurrence of the disease.
