FHTM Business Tips and Training – FHTM Points, Tax Deductible Expense and Support - By: Karen Stearns

Do you have concern about reaching your Fortune Customer Point goal? Don't worry; they will all improve your lifestyle and Fortune business. Assuming you have joined or are contemplating joining FHTM, the first challenge you have is to qualify yourself with the Customer Points program. To qualify for income, you must reach 3 points immediately but then your target will increase as you reach different levels within FHTM i.e. Regional, Executive and National. It is important to reach your point goals so you get all possible bonuses as you grow your Fortune business.

Paul Orberson and his team designed the Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing business around the idea of earning future income from paying for services you already use or that are of additional benefit to you. This was a completely novel idea. This is only effective if Fortune reps do indeed use the services from the plan. These are set up as Customer Points and are the heart of the Fortune success model.

Don't worry about the points. Many new reps get caught up in the 'cost' of these points. This is a totally wrong way to think of this program. When you look at the products and services in the program, it would be highly unlikely that you are not already buying many of these products and services. And there are many which are new to you but they are designed to support your Fortune business.

This recommended approach works:
- Learn all there is to know about each qualifying products or services that get you points.
- Identify all that you are currently using and move your business to these vendors.
- Look at all that support services offered and sign up for them.
- Use all tax deductible expenses* that support your Fortune business.
- Keep the income flowing, go out and 'Show the Plan'.

Here's how it worked for me:

After getting familiar with the products and services I noted that I already used a cell phone, bought TV service, used vitamins, supplements and health and beauty products. I committed to switching cell phone service as soon as my current contract was up. I switched to Dish Network. I compared all the vitamin, supplements, and health and beauty products to what I was currently using and switched to True Essentials and Peter Lamas products. I signed up for the Fortune services, Back Office, fortune TV.info, GoSolo and MyTelTag,that would help me succeed in my Fortune business. My tax advisor reviewed which services could be considered tax deductible expenses* for my business. After reviewing the other services available to support my business; homvantage, fonvantage, FHTM VISP, EZ-Net Tools, digital landing and VoiceConnect, my Tax Advisor indicated there were others that could be considered tax deductible expenses* for my business. I looked at the other services such as TravelFHTM, FABSCyberfitness, home security, health care, roadside assistance and the new protection for living offering and each new service as it was added by Fortune. I only sign up for the ones that fit my lifestyle and budget. And then I asked each of my family members who were not going to be Fortune reps to do the same. I gained many points outside my home.

Some points are more valuable than others! How can one action help you in three ways? They are the Customer Point offerings that not only get you to the required Customer Point requirement but also are tax deductible and support your entire business effort.

Like all businesses, you need many of the Fortune designed support products which also gave me Customer Points. Not only does Fortune supply support systems, the FHTM training they provide is outstanding. I don't have to be involved in storing or delivering products, paying employees, tracking sales, negotiating with suppliers or be involved with service problems. Make sure you understand that YOU NEVER have to store or deliver products!

The value of these services exceeds the cost of them. The implied value which is greater than one could anticipate is that all this frees me to 'Show the Plan' which generates income. So the big message here is to look at these points from the view of the maximum benefit you can receive from using those products and services.

Here's a recommendation to all FHTM reps to reach their point requirements: Get familiar with all and use all the customer point products and services for things you are already buying. Learn and use all the tools provided to you by Fortune, get the points and use them for legitimate tax deductible* expenses, Enhance your lifestyle with new products and services that are within your budget and ask your family to support you by reviewing the list and buying what makes sense for them.

Could it be any easier to reach your customer point requirement levels? Free your mind and your time so you can grow your business with the most important thing you can do, 'Show the Plan' Fortune Hi Tech Marketing has created the wave and you need to Ride the Wave to Success!

*your own tax advisor should determine which expenses are tax deductions for your business.
