Extremely Effective Entocort EC 3 mg Provides Relief from Crohn's Disease Symptoms - By: tanya crane

Over 170,000 Canadians are already known to have either Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, and so far Canadian drugs like Entocort EC 3 mg have proved to be extremely useful in treating the symptoms of Crohn's disease. The highest incidence rates of the disease are in Canada, and patients will be relieved to know that the drug reduces swelling and inflammation thereby bringing relief from discomfort that exists in the disease due to inflammation and related symptoms.

Crohn’s disease (inflammatory bowel disease) is a chronic ailment wherein the lining of the digestive system gets inflamed. It normally happens at the ileum and colon; however, it can affect any part of the digestive system. Inflammation can also occur at the food pipe, and mouth. The constant inflammation tends to damage the different parts of the system. Affected persons experience symptoms like abdominal pain, tiredness, and diarrhea. Every year around seven in every 100,000 people are known to be affected by Crohn's disease.

When the disease strikes, the body's immune system is affected, wherein cells and proteins start functioning abnormally. Some research has been done earlier on this, which found that microbes like bacteria which are normally found in the intestines are mistaken for foreign particles.

To counter this, the body produces white blood cells which are then sent to the lining of the intestine to destroy these microbes and thus causes inflammation. Due to the malfunction, ulcerations and bowel injuries are likely to occur.

Entocort EC 3 mg can be easily bought from Canadian pharmacies, and the drug contains coated granules that protect dissolution of the medication in the stomach. Instead, the granules dissolve in the duodenum when the pH value is greater than 5.5. The ethyl cellulose and budesonide then control the drug’s release into the intestines at the appropriate time.
There is no cure as yet for Crohn's disease.

Nonprofit Organization Spends $ 5 Million to Find Cure for Crohn's Disease

The C.H.I.L.D Foundation has decided to spend $ 5 million in 2011 in order to set up a national network for Canadian researchers online. Their aim will be to find a cure for Crohn's disease. Detecting the disease early always helps. Grace McCarthy, chairman of the CH.I.L.D. Foundation observed, "It's nobody's fault, it's just the system. If we rethink the system, we believe we will be successful."

More than $27 million has been raised by the Foundation since it was found, and the current allocation is just a way of increasing efforts to find a permanent cure for Crohn’s disease in children. Earlier, Vancouver saw its first research laboratory being set up to conduct research on liver and intestinal disorders at the B.C. Children's Hospital.

Efforts are on in different part of the world to create awareness for early detection and to find a cure for several incurable diseases. Crohn’s disease may not have a cure as yet, but Big Mountain Drugs recommends the use of Entocort EC 3 mg to effectively treat the symptoms of the disease at the early stages. Patients can easily buy the drug online through a simple process.
