EXPLODE YOUR MLM - I'm sure you've seen that catchphrase everywhere on the internet. You may have been looking for answers and clicked on these wild ad's to see if they were true. You've probably come across tons of websites making just ridiculous income claims.

When a bomb explodes, it releases an enormous tidal wave of energy in a very short period of time, creating a shockwave that destroys everything in its path.

Explosions can never be reversed. If you've studied thermodynamics, you know this is true. It's also a business law. Many businesses have gone bust because of explosive growth. They are fueled by greed and ego. The process can't be reversed because the owner's reputation is in pieces. You have to start all over again.

Too many people come into network marketing with unrealistic expectations, and that's not a good thing. Creating wealth through network marketing demands personal growth and leadership. But the way it is often promoted, it attracts desperate people who will inevitably fail. The last thing most people ever need is a business opportunity.

In many network marketing companies, the business model drives the behavior of recruiting. The products in such companies are so expensive that they are unmarketable to most people. Nobody can retail the product to customers outside the business opportunity. It is all about getting people into the deal so they could by at wholesale and earn "frequent flyer" style bonus points.

This business model has given rise to so called "internet MLM rockstars" who make outrageous claims of being able to sponsor 50+ people a month.

But here's the real deal... Building a long lasting legacy in network marketing is not about you recruiting thousands of people. I guarantee you that none of the people you sponsor can duplicate that. Success in network marketing is about sponsoring four or five people who will be friends with you for the rest of your life. In turn they sponsor four or five people, who sponsor four or five people and so on.

In other words, successful network marketers build strong relationships. If all you do is try to recruit every single prospect, your business will fail miserably because you don't have any relationships with the people in your business. Relationships are the glue that holds your business together.

if you don't build relationships, your dropout rate will be so high that you would have to work for the rest of your life just to combat the attrition.

Those "internet MLM gurus" are not network marketers. In fact, a lot of these "internet MLM gurus" have never actually built a network marketing business. They are raking in tons of money by getting network marketers to sell their training to other network marketers.

"Generate 100 leads a day", "Sponsor 20+ people a week without calling a single lead", I'm sure you've seen these all over the internet. Who would believe that? Desperate people, that's who.

The truth is, firstly, these people can't show you how to have these results and secondly, you don't need 100 new leads a day to have success in MLM. It's not about quantity, it's all about quality. Network marketing is a business of people helping other people achieve their dreams, that's how wealth is built. This takes time.

We do live in a results driven world. For example, when we buy a brand new car and turn the key, we just expect it to start and go, never thinking about the processes it took from it being just some sheet metal to sitting there shining in the showroom. We all want success now. Plant today, harvest tomorrow. Success does not work like that. Success is a process.

"Success is the progressive realisation of a worthy ideal"

This quote inspires me every time I read it. It reminds me that success is a journey - not a result. It requires consistent, focused, work on a daily basis which over time accumulates to an amazing harvest.
