There is none like Emma-Jane Brown who would don so many roles with ease. From a television presenter and pundit to a charity event compère and show commentator, Emma has always managed to excel in anything she tries her hand at, in addition to the ace show jumper she is acclaimed to be. Having had her beginnings at a very young age and trained under some of the best people in the field, she had risen to the level of a top class international competitor in a few years time. However, when her aspirations of making it to the Olympics were shattered following a severe kind of allergy from horses, many fans sadly concluded that it would be a forced end to a career. And the fact that she was not on the game for as long as 14 years (in spite of her presence on television) gave them enough reason to believe it as well.
But Emma Jane Brown is a celebrity in her own right and it is for many reasons. Surprising many, she made a great comeback after a gap of 14 years with ‘Horses for Heros’ in the earlier part of this year. The passionate driven sports women that she always was, she proved that there was nothing that could extinguish her spirit for the game. A well organized professional, Emma-Jane loves opportunities and challenges and with a great sense of humor possess the talent to communicate effectively to people in any environment.
A humanitarian, she is also active in fund-raising programs for charities especially the Air Ambulance and Children’s Cancer Appeals. In addition of having the honour to represent her country for a total of 13 times in the Nations Cup team, Emma Jane Brown is also a proud recipient of many awards – the Ladies National Championship of Great Britain which she won at the age of 20, the Foxhunter Championship and the coveted Queen Elizabeth 11 Cup.
