You may settle for store-bought instant cocoa, but there are small ways you can add a special twist over the old favorite and make lasting sweet memories. Below are a few simple ideas that will take not many ingredients and a few minutes in the kitchen but to help reap the warmth and goodness all night.

For a rich and creamy batch of hot chocolate, find a pinch of salt, some sort of teaspoon of vanilla extract, a can of sweetened condensed milk, and your own measurement for cocoa (to help taste) to 6 cups of hot (not cooking food) water. Stir occasionally since it heats so everything mixes well and prevent it from boiling. The final mixture should yield about 8 cups of sweet, delectable goodness.

Another great variation to try is Mexican hot chocolates. To make this spicy delight, add a pinch with ground cinnamon and chili powder to your usual hot chocolate brew and really heat your day.

If you ever prefer white chocolate cocoa, make enough for 4 cups and add?? teaspoon both of cayenne pepper and floor cinnamon. This is sure to help spice things up but won't leave a very good aftertaste.

Who doesn't like chocolate? Whether it's Valentine's Day or not, a lot of people just can't guide the temptation of taking in chocolates. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Blend the cookie crumbs together with melted butter until properly mixed. Press onto the lower of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

Within a medium saucepan, over moderate heat, melt 1 cup in the chocolate chips with the sweetened condensed milk. Stir in the vanilla. Pour this chocolate mixture evenly over the crust in the pan. Sprinkle the remaining glass of chocolate chips and also the chopped pecans excessive.

whipped cream, for garnish
