Maybe you are one of the people that is enjoying the benefits that Duracell grid is offering. This product brings several solutions that are very beneficial to its users just like its “clutter free” feature, which was made possible because of its cordless and wireless system. This is one type of a Duracell charging pad and it is one of the better ones.

It doesn’t need cords and wires to charge up your gadgets, and all you have to do is to position your device on top of the Duracell grid and for a few seconds (3 sec.), it will start to charge itself. Many are getting hooked with the Duracell grid and many wanted to have one as well. However, just like any products it faces several issues once accidentally mishandled by its users. In this article, we will discuss basic troubleshooting steps that will provide solutions to the most common problems that a Duracell user might face in the future.

Basic troubleshooting steps

These are so far the most common concerns that Duracell grid users are facing. These issues might have developed because of some “mishandling” that might have occurred during the process of using the product.

• The indicator light keeps on blinking, and it doesn’t charge the device.
You have put several devices that the Duracell grid can’t handle. The more gadgets you are putting in the dock surface, the more power will be consumed and shared within these gadgets. This thing normally happens when the Duracell grid is “overloaded” and don’t have the capacity to accommodate all the devices.

Solution: try to remove some of the devices until the blinking stops. This will lessen the demand for power and can correct the issue of overloading. Normally, Duracell grid can handle as much as four devices at the same time without affecting its capacity to power up your devices.

• When I place my device in the Duracell grid, there’s no sign that it’s charging.
Maybe your device is not properly positioned, or it can be due to some dirt’s that have accumulated in the Duracell grid surface. This will prevent proper “contact” that is needed to transmit magnetic power into your gadgets. Another factor that could affect this is the uneven surface where the device has been positioned; this will affect as well the connection between Duracell grid and your device.

Solution: be sure that you have placed your Duracell grid in a flat surface to ensure proper contact of both devices, remember as well that dirt’s or any particles present in the surface area can affect the charging performance of your Duracell grid.

• The light indicator of my Duracell grid doesn’t turn on when I place my device.
Many users have experienced this kind of situation when using Duracell grid. There are a lot of reasons why this thing happens. Some of them are: devices that are not compatible with the charger, presence of metallic objects in the surface of Duracell grid, or its not connected properly in the wall socket.

Solutions: check first if your device is Duracell grid enabled. You must follow the instruction that came with the product to check its compatibility. Remove any metals just like coins that can distort the magnetic signal that the Duracell grid is emitting, and lastly check if it is firmly connected in the wall outlet.

As you can see the reasons for these common issues with the Duracell grid are pretty simple, and can be solved using easy to follow guidelines. If you are experiencing any other issues that are not covered in this article, we advised you to check on the device manual that comes with the Duracell grid for solutions.
