Your security personnel manning the door must be able to read people entering the establishment. Most of the time, door staff are trained to balance the mix of people entering the establishment but a better door staff is someone who can read troublemakers from those who can have fun without getting into trouble.

More than the physique of your bouncers, they must be mentally alert to be able to sense trouble before it erupts. They must be able to think on their feet and diffuse fights rather than create them. They must also know how to protect themselves; otherwise, they won’t be able to do what they are supposed to.

Each security personnel must be a good communicator. They must be able to communicate among themselves with the things that are happening in every corner of the establishment. Moreover, each one must be a team player because one cannot handle every situation by himself.

Sometimes, it is better to have bouncers that are highly visible so that troublemakers would think twice before creating a violent situation. But it is better to have bouncers that blend in with the crowd and still manage to do their jobs. In this way, clients will not be apprehensive and will be able to enjoy themselves more.

Technologies are good security measures to be able to capture and playback events concerning security issues. But what’s more important is keeping the establishment safe and preventing violent situations from happening and this can be provided by a good security personnel team.
