Don't let Self Limiting Beliefs impede your MLM Success - By: Wayne Wu

Belief and courage is the foundation to all possibilities, especially so in achieving success in network marketing. This is more challenging, and more important than any marketing technique you can learn. It's a process that requires time, dedication and persistence.

We are brought up by parents and the surrounding environment to believe certain things. Some which may not serve us at a later stage in life. Limiting beliefs can really hold us back in our quest. We need to learn how to get rid of them. And as well as that, reprogram ourselves with self serving beliefs.

Many people hate the rich because they belief them to be greedy and selfish people who rip other people off. This is one of the most destructive beliefs you can possess, and you must learn to overcome it.

People can't be blamed for believing this. They weren't born with it. It was conditioned upon them. But sadly, this belief causes people to live their lives in scarcity, in jealousy of others, and in constant judgement of others to justify their own predicament.

For people who think like that, ideally everything should be free, as the world owes it to them. They take more than they give. They look for opportunities to extract value, or get the "longer end of the stick".

Almost everywhere you look in common society, it's a "sin" to be rich. This is subconsciously programmed into us repeatedly through our parents and friends who are mentally poor, watching the news, watching TV shows where the rich were stereotypically classified as snobs, "Robbin Hood".

It is far from the truth. There is no moral high ground being poor.

Deeply ingrained beliefs are hard to change, but they can be changed if you work on yourself. Many network marketers struggle, not because of they don't have the desire to be successful, or the work ethic, but because they feel guilty about becoming successful.

It's very important to learn all the right skills. Learning to marketing yourself and talking to people on the phone is not too hard. Don't let guilt or the fear of success crush your spirits. You must believe that you're worth it..

Work on yourself until you believe in your success. Read and listen to inspiring works from those who are successful everyday.

The best thing you can do is change your environment and associations. Start getting to know people who are going the same direction as you, or those who've already achieved the goals you've set for yourself.
