Don’t Stop Hypnosis - Stop Overeating - By: Chad J. Livingstone

Many diets do not work for many people. In order for a “diet” to work, many different aspects must be in line but this very rarely happens. We may start off doing well but it doesn’t take long and we are off track. Eating is a natural part of life; food represents survival, food also provides comfort and a sense of happiness. Hypnosis is an excellent tool to help with watching ones weight. Once the sessions begin, its best not to stop hypnosis processes until the session is completely over if possible.

Hypnosis, whether it is administered by a hypnotist or by self-hypnosis can generate a state that is of a heightened awareness while providing suggestions that can influence behaviors. The results are those of post-hypnotic suggestions which continue the therapy after the session is over. Through hypnosis, your subconscious is given worthwhile information that can change how it operates; through hypnosis, food becomes just food and not a solution to a problem.

Before beginning any hypnosis session, your must map out exactly what you want to achieve and how the goal will be obtained. For losing weight, you need to know what your goal weight is and how you will get to that particular weight. If you are willing to accept the suggestions from the sessions, you can lose weight. The initial session should be devoted to the decision to lose weight and the challenges that you currently have regarding weight loss. A successful session will not stop hypnosis aftereffects, so continue with your excellent progress.

If you chose, you can consider the reasons as to why the weight needs to be lost. Also consider the motive for losing the weight; is it for health issues, are you going on a once in a lifetime trip or perhaps you just want to start taking better care of yourself. After this, you can move into another aspect of why the weight keeps adding up; do you overeat and why or do you just snack on the wrong foods?

Don’t stop hypnosis at this point; continue on and consider your emotions when you overeat, before and after. What are the underlying reasons for overeating? During these sessions you may be able to see things clearer and be more accepting to what the real truths are. Continuing with the therapy will help you to understand the possibilities as to why you overeat but the sessions will also help to stop overeating.

Keep in mind that the hypnosis itself does not stop the overeating; it is the suggestions that are stated during the session. Being hypnotized to lose weight does not change your body type or how your body works, but it can change how you behave with food and act when around it. To stop hypnosis would be similar to a marathon runner stopping mid-race.

Hypnosis provides you the ability to control and stop that voice that tells you its okay to eat an extra portion or have that extra sugary snack. You can change your thought processes to make healthier choices and even begin exercising. Using the hypnosis to show inner self that what you need to do, why you need to do and how to lose the weight will set your plan into place and you can achieve your weight loss goal. Please don’t stop hypnosis, use the tool that can help you to accomplish the weight loss goal that your heart desires.
