It's surprising how many beautiful dog friendly hotels there are in Banff Canada. It's a quaint little town nestled in the Canadian Rockies in the The Banff National Park. It's home to world class accommodations, five star cuisine, killer views and lots of dog friendly guest rooms.

This destination is a great start to planning your pet friendly vacation. You don't want to leave your pooch behind. Besides the kids won't be happy! There's lots of things to see and do in Banff. Spending some good quality time outdoors with your pooch is good for both of you. You can walk some great trails close to your dog friendly hotel. There are numerous parks and the beautiful Bow River running through town...great for throwing toys or sticks and great exercise for everyone.

There's the Banff Veterinary Services clinic in town. It's associated with the Canmore Veterinary Hospital with a 24 hour emergency service. This Canmore hospital is located about a 15 minute drive south of Banff. Also in Canmore is the Mut Hut Pet Emporium...they have all kinds of gear for Pooch. This is another luxurious Banff dog friendly hotel. If you're going first class so can Fido. The Rimrock provides your pet with a pet bed, a food and water bowl, a fresh dog biscuit and doodoo bags. Daily charge of $35 plus taxes.

Juniper Hotel - Banff

The Juniper Hotel prides itself on pampering any pets that come to stay. It's more than pet friendly, it's pet pampered. They provide a plush pet bed, food dish & water bowl, towel, organic cookies, pet-friendly trail maps and clean up baggies. They know your pet is part of the family.

Chateau Lake Louise - Lake Louise - 50 minutes from Banff

This luxury dog friendly hotel takes dog friendly hotels to the next level. In your room Fido will be greeted with a customized welcome letter from the Director of Pet Relations, Mark. There's a luxurious dog bed, food and water bowl, organic dog biscuits, and information on pet activities. You can read the latest issue of "Bark Magazine" while relaxing in your superb accommodations.

There are pet-sitting services and employees of the hotel will walk your pooch for a charge of $14 per hour. The price is $25 CAD/night and the animal must not be left unattended in the room. Seeing-Eye dogs are always welcome and stay free.
