I think you may hesitate to install car backup camera mounted on your car. Typically, the car camera is installed on the bottom of the rear license plate, and the camera gets its power from the backup tail light. Due to this, installation is much easier and little, if any, modification to your car is required.
Monitor Installation
The monitor is usually mounted on the dash using long-lasting and heat-resistant double-sided tape. The monitor is then wired to the electrical system of the car. While many car backup camera systems permit you to insert the monitor directly into the accessories power outlet, a professional installer should connect the monitor to a fused circuit under the dash.
Camera Inspection
Make certain the camera is installed so it provides you with a clear view from the rear of your car. Have someone walk close to the car while you watch the monitor. You should be able to see all the way to the ground, close to the car.
As we know many of the injuries and fatalities caused in backup accidents happen to kids. Because kids are much smaller and shorter than adults, you should make sure the car camera will completely cover all view behind the car.
