Astrology is the most popular technique used in divination, and perhaps the oldest too. It consists of observing the placement of celestial bodies during the life of an individual in order to understand the events past, present and future of this person's life.

Palmistry is a divination technique which observes the lines of the hands. The reader can tell the emotional and social attitudes of the being by analyzing the lines of their hands. While we make changes to our personality and our subconscious, these lines also modify themselves to reflect these changes.

Scrying is a technique where the reader stares for a long time into an object, trying to find shapes with meaning in it (it can be a cloud, tea leaves or water).
