The importance of article marketing is well known in internet marketing, and submitting your articles to online directories has many benefits. 1) If your article's title is written in all caps, it will take away from the professionalism of your article. Your title does need to stand out of the crowd and grab attention of your readers, but that doesn't mean you can use all capital letters in your title. The correct approach is to use a capital letter only in the first letter of every word, as this will mark you as a professional. Using all caps is also considered to be shouting, whether you're writing an article or talking in a chat room. When you create your title, think about making it interesting and original, and this will be enough.

Try and submit the articles manually and avoid using any article submission software tools. There are far too many variations with each article directory to expect a piece of software to be able to succesfully navigate. It might take a bit longer if you submit them by hand but eventually you'll see the difference - it'll be much more worth it.

3) While article directories may let you use certain HTML tags, it's better to keep this to a minimum anyway. Only focus on using easy HTML tags that allow you to bold, italicize, underline, etc. There's no reason why you shouldn't use these tags that allow you to format your article in a certain way. Using heavy coding in the article is a strict no-no. You just want the HTML to help you out lay out the bullet points and emphasize on a few important words, or just point to an external link. Anything more than that is not going to help the article in any way and may even get it rejected.

No need to overcomplicate matters with regard to article submissions and just stick to the rules of submissions. The best source of information about submitting your articles are in the terms of service for each article directory. The much less important article directories are more flexible, but the more important ones really are not - so keep that in mind.
