If your business was selling health products or information on health issues then the keywords that you would choose would have the words health or wellbeing in them and you could choose a domain name incorporating these words, which would help tremendously with getting listed on the search engines. This would be a big help if you are marketing in a particular niche.

When deciding on the domain name, if you want to use keywords then the best thing to do is to write a list of all the possible keyword combination's associated with your niche and do a keyword search to help you decide on the best ones.

Once that is done then choose a name around those words. By using this method, you are giving a very clear indication to anyone searching exactly what your business is all about.

The simplest way to choose name is to do a domain name search. There are free sites that will give you the information and this will help you with the choice.

Another important point is to get a website with a .com extension unless the website is aimed at a particular country then rather get one with an extension that is used only for that country.

Choose a couple of domain to start as there is always the possibility that the one you have chosen is already taken. Have another choice also with your keywords in it, just in case.

There is always the possibility that the domain name that you originally chose is for sale, but it is usually expensive to buy. It is far better to create a new one which will cost you a few dollars to register.
