Dell Lightning is a slider GSM Mobile Handset equipped with 800 x 480 pixels screen resolution, 4.1 Inch screen and 16.7 M color display. The Dell Lightning is certainly a feature-rich phone, and is touted by Dell to offer unified communications and the “Best Mobile Email. Period.” It also offers Bing-powered browsing and the “Ultimate Internet”, and of course, the fully-integrated Zune HD Player and Zune Marketplace experience.

The Lightning’s distinct design looks slick in the slides (check them out below), and is Dell’s idea of providing PC-like functionality in a pocket-able form-factor, and of being the ultimate pocket computing and communication device. It will feature cloud based auto-sync, back-up, and remote management, apart from full-Flash support. The device will be available by the end of the year.
