A few months back the world’s leading manufacturer of laptops, Dell, launched a version of the upcoming laptops. This new device is called the Dell Streak. The new dell streak is basically what is known these days as a web tablet. This new 5 inch internet tablet from Dell was earlier known as the Dell mini 5. Recently a web blog confirmed the name of this tablet to be the Dell streak. The Dell streak is not just another internet surfing device.

It also has the option of inserting a 3g SIM card into it to allow the user to have internet no matter where. So when it is going to be launched, the streak will surpass almost all mobile devices like the HTC HD2 and LG GW990 based on its screen size. The new dell streak comes loaded with the new Google Android OS, and has a powerful 5 mega pixel camera with LED flash. The device will also be available in a variety of customizable color combinations and designs much like the other Dell laptops India.

This Android based device known as the Streak comes with a high resolution display which is roughly half the size of the Apple iPad. The Dell Streak will have a large 5 inch WVGA touchscreen display and will be powered by a Qualcomm snapdragon processor that runs at a speed of 1 GHz, it will come with 2 GB of internal storage, and will support a maximum of 32GB of external SD storage, it has a 5 megapixel camera with a LED flash, and also a secondary front-facing camera which can be used for video chat. The Streak will also have support for 3G networks, with support for 802.11b/g Wi-Fi networks, and has Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity.
